Our global food system is broken and an agricultural turnaround is urgently needed – but how can we create socially just and ecological structures? Agroecology offers an alternative to the agro-industrial model. In this workshop, we will deal with agroecological approaches in Brazil, Guatemala and Germany. Based on these examples, we will envision an agroecological future and exchange ideas on how we can get active ourselves.
Our workshop leader Marie Norkus works for the Romero Initiative (CIR) in Münster in the field of ethical consumption. As a human rights organization, the CIR is committed advocating for human and workers rights in Central America and Brasil.
