Discussion of cases from Malawi and Ethiopia
Beschreibung:
Guests
- Joseph Kenson Sakala, Environmental Scientist and founding member of YSD Malawi (Youth for Environment and Sustainable Development Malawi)

- Julia Leventon, professor at the Institute for Ethics and Transdisciplinary Sustainability Research (Leuphana University Lüneburg)
Our guests are all working in the field of community development and transdisciplinary research. While Joseph Kenson Sakala has been focusing on practical work with Malawian communities on the ground, Julia Leventon and Jörn Fischer see their role as – even though transdisciplinary – scientists. During the discussion, we would like to benefit from these different perspectives when discussing our guests’ projects in Malawi and Ethiopia.
